Good. Let the jobs go overseas.
If they can.
The fact is, without the ability to bring industrial spies and job robbers into the US on H-1B visas and get trained by American workers, US companies can do little to send jobs overseas.
The threat of jobs going overseas has been used for decades by US companies and media to scare the American public into accepting more H-1Bs, but the reality is, without brining these people into US companies first, few jobs can be moved.
It’s the influx of H-1Bs over the past 2 decades that has enabled offshoring.
Don’t buy into the fear – restrictions in these visas will put more Americans back to work and actually slow the offshoring of US jobs.
