Japan to Halt Overseas Transfers that Bypass Bank Accts

Now that Japan is accepting more foreign workers, it didn’t take the gov’t of Japan long to realize that remittance looting could wreak havoc on the Japanese economy.

So the gov’t moved to put a halt to all remittances that are not cleared through a bank.

Why hasn’t the US done the same?

Western Union and other remittance transfer services such as xoom.com may be the biggest enemy of the US economy, ever.
