It’s rather ironic that this article appeared in News India since it is the invasion of oversupplied labor from India to Silicon Valley that both drove Americans out of tech jobs, and drove rents and home prices up beyond affordability.
If not for the unnatural oversupply of labor in the Valley and tech industry in general, everyone would be able to afford a place to live.
20 years ago this wasn’t the case – Silicon Valley was an exciting idyllic paradise with few problems. Everyone had jobs, everyone had a nice place to live, and life in the Valley was great.
But the mass invasion of foreign workers has ruined life in the Valley, and even many engineers now live out of trucks or cargo vans and RVs.
Mass immigration has not been good for America, overall.
