With H-1B rejection rates approaching 40%, Indian IT will urgently need a new service delivery model

Boo hoo hoo.

You can only loot people for so long.

How about actually creating something and selling it rather than just parasiting into companies built by Americans, kicking them out, and taking over.

After all, they are the world’s tech geniuses, right?

So what’s the problem India – just innovate your way to higher profits, after all, you are the world’s innovaton hub, right?

“President Donald Trump’s onslaught against the H-1B visa has had drastic effects on the business models of Indian IT firms.

Rejection rates for the top 6 companies (TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and HCL Technologies) hovered around just 4% on average in 2015. However, between September 2018 and April 2019, that rate skyrocketed to 36%. Even global IT firms such as Accenture and Deloitte with built-in offshoring models have been hit for their reliance on H-1Bs”.

Well India, you shouldn’t have based your ahem……. ‘business’ …. on looting other countries, and companies, and you wouldn’t be in this predicament.

Better hurry up and “innovate” since you are the world’s tech geniuses, and innovation hub of the world.

We’re all sure you can do it.
