Indian-origin bosses, Jayshree Ullal, Neerja Sethi, Neha Narkhede America’s richest self-made women

“President and CEO of computer networking firm Arista Networks Jayshree Ullal, co-founder of IT consulting and outsourcing firm Syntel Neerja Sethi and CTO and co-founder of streaming data technology company Confluent Neha Narkhede are in the Forbes list of ‘America’s Richest Self-Made Women 2019’.

Except for one little problem: the company Jayshree is now CEO of, Arista Networks was founded by former Sun Microsystems founder Andy Bechtolshiem, and one other western founder.

Ullal merely took over – in typical Indian Mafia fashion.

Not quite ‘self made’ if someone else built the company you now head, now is it?

Sun, BTW, was destroyed in the late 1990’s by armies of India + Chinese guest workers who didn’t keep the company competitive, as promised.

Wonder how Bechtolsheim feels about being run out of two companies he founded?
