Aman Kapoor, the president & co-founder of Immigration Voice & the org that Hildingur advocates for, pulled off a similar tactic in 2020 pretending to be someone who is stuck in the Green Card backlog. However, in 2017 he told a reporter he's a US citizen:https://t.co/24irnAFQQN

A January 2020 article by @Tanvim states that Aman Kapoor (President & Co-founder of Immigration Voice) has not yet received his green card since applying in 2007.

However, a WaPo article from April 2017 by @TracyJan has Kapoor quoted that he's a "proud American citizen". pic.twitter.com/Jv0p7QdSil
This is very interesting since falsely claiming U.S. Citizenship is a crime pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 911. Further, I wonder if it can be shown to have occurred ”for any purpose or benefit”, which would make it a deportable offense irrespective of intent?

In the WaPo article, Aman Kapoor admits the H-1Bs from India are brought in to be "indentured" & "not because Indians are smarter."
He admits “American workers are discriminated." pic.twitter.com/EuKkdd98QD
